I completed my BFA with dream of pursuing art curation. Upon graduation, I landed a one-year internship as a museum curator at a Police Museum. This led to a role as creative director at the station, where I managed visuals populating the police station’s website and communication materials.
During this period, I also began shooting weddings part-time, however the demanding workload became overwhelming. I left the police station and move to the Caribbean island of St Maarten, where I worked as a wedding, portrait and fashion photography. Eventually, I moved to Vancouver, shifting focus to commercial photography and teaching post-secondary.
I now teach photography full time and run a commercial photography business specializing in business headshots and product photography. I also run WCWA, a photography awards company for wedding photographers on the west coast.
