Our photography journey started before we even knew each other. Shari fell in love with photography in high school + always knew that it would be a part of her life in some capacity. For Mike, the beginning was all about supporting Shari’s dream but in the process it unlocked something inside of him. Through a big life move across provinces, a bad job experience + taking time for some self discovery, we figured out what we really wanted out of life. Ultimately we discovered that if we were going to work every day we wanted it to be doing something we love, on our own terms + something we could do together. So we took the leap off of the cliff + pursued photography with every fibre of our being. The journey from that point until now has not been all roses + unicorns. We have had our fair share of highs + lows but through it all we have found that the best place to be in life is doing something that makes you happy + leaves you fulfilled. 

We are the type of people that don’t ever want to become complacent in life or business. Our thoughts are, if you aren’t moving forward, you are getting left behind. We try to live every day being grateful for what we have + where we are while also pushing for what's next + trying to be the best version of ourselves. I think those things help us to stay creative + to refine our vision. 

We seek to always be growing + always be learning + to continually see the world from a fresh perspective. It keeps life exciting which in turn keeps us inspired creatively. Pushing ourselves to the best of our ability but knowing our best always has room to grow.
