While completing my BFA, I fell in love with photoshop. I enrolled in a digital art diploma program part time at a nearby college and studied graphic design, digital art and photography. I completed my BFA with dream of art curation. Upon graduation, I landed a one-year internship as a museum curator at a Police Museum. This led to a role as creative director at the police station, where I managed visuals and photographed the projects I was working on, populating the police station’s website and communication materials.
During this period, I also began shooting weddings part-time, but the demanding workload became overwhelming. I left the police station and move to St Maarten, where I slowed down my life and worked as a wedding, portrait and fashion photography. Eventually, I moved to Vancouver, shifting focus to commercial photography and teaching. I now teach photography full time at Langara College, and run a commercial photography business specializing in business headshots and product photography.
